The most accurate pedometer in our range uses solid state accelerometer technology instead of the traditional mechanical pendulum used in most other pedometers. Sounds fancy, but what does it mean for me the user? Accelerometers sense the walking movement apposed to the vibration of walking allowing it to differentiate between a jolt and an actual step so the HJ113 clocks up far fewer false readings without reducing sensitivity. In addition it can differentiate between activity levels i.e. walking and running or aerobic activity again providing accurate measurement of your activity.
